Fiona is the Senior Archaeologist and Heritage Team Leader at Niche and has worked as a professional archaeologist for over 10 years. Fiona is a skilled field archaeologist and project manager who provides expert heritage advice on the management of significant Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal sites. Fiona has worked in Qld, NSW and Tasmania for a range of public and private sector clients applying state and commonwealth heritage legislation.
Fiona’s skills include archaeological assessment, field survey, community consultation, archaeological excavation (S140, S60, S90) and reporting. Fiona’s work often involves the co-ordination of large and small archaeology teams. More recently, Fiona has provided strategic heritage advice to NSW state government agencies for major infrastructure projects.
